Transplant House Dedication

You are cordially invited to join The Georgia Transplant Foundation (GTF) and Brayson Homes Inc. on Wednesday, August 27 , for the dedication of the two latest Brayson Homes Transplant Houses . The two Transplant Houses built and sold during 2002 were located at Meadow Grove in Lawrenceville and at North Square at Avery Park in Newnan.

The event will take place at the 1818 Club, located in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Building from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day. There will be a catered lunch, and the check presentation is expected to take place during the first hour. Expected to attend the event are GTF officers and directors, transplant recipients, and local governmental officials.

The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Building is located at 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth. Directions are shown at the end of this message, and the telephone number for the Chamber is (770) 232-3000.

Brayson Homes has annually constructed and sold a “Transplant House” with the understanding that when it is sold, 100 percent of the profits will go to the Georgia Transplant Foundation. The profits from “Transplant House” sales are much larger than are usually received from the sale of a home, since many of Brayson Homes' contractors, suppliers, and others donate labor and materials for the yearly project. These contributors will also be recognized at the dedication event.

The sale of the two Transplant Houses during 2002 raised $208,000 for GTF, a record amount for one year. This brings the total raised since 1996 to over $743,000 .

Because there will be limited space at the site of the dedication, we are asking that there be no advance coverage of the event. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Please RSVP to the attached invitation by calling Tasha Stenger at (678) 475-0578. Any questions you might have can also be directed to Tasha. If you can't open the attachment, please send an email to me at jimmy@jimmybooth.com.
